Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation - Influenster

I got this foundation for free to try from Influenster.com !! I was beyond excited to try something that hasnt even released in the US yet. woo 

Over all i do LOVE this foundation even though the shade i got doesnt match me at all lol 

It goes on smooth and doesnt feel cakey. 

The coverage is great med-full.

No gross smell.

It doesnt run its for sure a mousse.

Its very light weight and super easy to blend in.

I will for sure be picking it up in my shade when it hits the states. =)

Chewy Cranberry Oatmeal Cookies

INGREDIENTS:

• 1/2 Pound (2 sticks)  butter, softened

• 1 Cup firmly packed brown sugar

• 1/2 Cup granulated sugar

• 1 Teaspoon vanilla

• 1 1/2 Cup all-purpose flour

• 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda

• 1 Teaspoon ground cinnamon

• 1/2 Teaspoon salt (optional)

• 3 Cups Quaker oats (I use the 1min oats)

• 1 Cup -2 cups dried Cranberries (I use ocean spray craisins) 

 PREPARATION: Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, beat together margarine and sugars with electric mixer until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. In medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well. Add to margarine mixture; mix well. Stir in oats and cranberries; mix well. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until light golden brown.(depends on your oven) Cool on cookie sheets; remove to wire rack.

[confessions of a pyrex slut] When Pyrex dreams come true

 

Got my Starburst Space Saver from a seller on instagram (same seller i got my Pink Butterprint 472from) I did pay a lot but not as bad as ebay prices and it is in GREAT shape im so in love <3<3

  

This New Dots set was the reason i started collecting ITS SOOOOOO BEAUTIFULLLLLLL !!!

My first time going to  King Richards Antique Mall in Whittier CA  I almost died when i saw them sitting in a booth looking at me saying buuuuy us buy us!!! lol They have a layaway program so i jumped on that. I didnt have enough cash so i put half down so i could come back a few days later and pick them up! Didnt want someone snagging them up over the weekend. (which could have happened the other pyrex that was left in that booth was ALL GONE when i went back for my dots)

 

Theses Pink Butterpints are to die for i just need the 473 and my set is complete 

 

My Husband came home with an early Christmas gift!!!! I COULDN'T BELIEVE MY EYES!!!  I was bidding on the smaller bowl on ebay and got super bummed when i got outbid. I couldnt believe he found this set of Delphite Bluebells in a local shop it was like he was reading my mind =) 

I seriously cant wait to get a hutch so i can display all my beautiful babies <3 <3 <3 

Recent beauty haul (collective haul)

This time of year is my FAVORITE time of year to shop fr beauty items. Lots of brand come out with LE sets for the holidays. Its a great way to try new brands and items. 

Urban Decay came out with a few palettes this year. I picked up the Vice2.(top left) They came out with Vice last year and i was kicking myself for not buying it so i couldn't pass it up this year. 

(top right) I have always wanted to try OCC Lip Tars but i would never get threw a full tube so when i saw this set i jumped on it 4 all star lip tar minis!!! 

I picked up 3 of the Soap & Glory bath items. Body wash body butter and hand food. so far I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE them!!! They smell amazing!

I placed an order a while back for 1 sigma brush so i did it again =p 

Got the highly talked about F80 , Duo Fiber Blush Brush, and  few eye brushes. I can not wait to use the F80!

I think about 2 years ago or maybe even last year NARS came out with the Danmari palette and i didnt get it.....worst mistake ever lol. They came out with a new one this year with the "Guy Bourdin Holiday Collection Limited Edition One Night Stand Cheek Palette".

ITS SOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL =D

Pyrex & Vintage Finds This Week

 

 

 If you're new to my blog then you dont know that I collect Vintage Pyrex..... if you're not new then you know i have a problem. =p 

My first find this week was at a local shop. My cute little lime green 8oz #080!!! I got a good deal on them and WILL be going back to that shop again they had so much great stuff.

Below that we have the Blue Tulip #043 that i got from a seller on Instagram . 

I was terrified that it had arrived broken because the box was crushed in on one side.

Under that is the Pink Daisy Space Savers #575. (ebay)

I have falling head over heels for Space Savers and want them ALL!!!! 

HG would be the black starburst but pffffttt thats never going to happen iv never seen one other then ONE on flickr. =( waa 

The green nut grinder and chopper are from a trade on facebook. So cute and will look nice with my Spring Blossom Casseroles. 

The pink fridgie #503 was an ebay steal i got it for $12! Was so excited and it came super fast!

My last finds this week were the squirrel not vintage just SUPER EFFIN CUTE!!!! 

and duh this beautiful 501 turquoise i got from another seller on instagram =) 

on the not so fun side i bought a set of turquoise mixing bowls off an ebay seller said they were in great shape blah blah blah so yea i bought them was super excited and guess what they showed up BROKEN!!!

BROKEN HEART FOREVER!!!

I knew it was bound to happen to me the horrid pyrex mailing death but man that sucked!

 sorry pretty babies maybe you go off to pyrex heaven and damn the stupid seller who carelessly packed you.

Hopefully the seller refunds me i dont want to have to open a paypal dispute =/ 

OVERALL it was a good week for Pyrex lovin <333

Ipsy - September 2013

 

This months theme was "Classic beauty"

At the top we have a "sample" or EM Michelle Phan's new line. This show the "The Life Palette" and give a few eyeshadows and a blush kinda just stick to the paper. Its whatever i dont really find a use for this your not going to be able to create any look with this just see how powders feel.  

Moving on we have a FULL SIZE NYX eyeshadow, smaple size of It's So Big Mascara, Mini Butter London Nail Polish!!! HOW CUUUUUUUTEEEEEE, FULL SIZE Starlooks eyeliner, & a CAILYN Tinted lip balm. 

This months bag is blue and black with a lace type pattern on it. Cute but super thin i would trust it to keep things safe from breaking just good for keeping things from rolling around your purse. 

I'm a fan of NYX so the eyeshadow is a plus. Mascara sample.... again? Most excited about the nail polish i looooove butter london but dont own a ton because they are pricey. Always love getting eyeliners and i read somewhere that Starlooks is made by the same people who make MAC cosmetics so this should be a let down. The cailyn lip tint is surprisingly very pigmented and comes with a little brush on the cap so you dont have to stick your fingers in it.

Over all im pretty pleased with this months bag. I saw that some people got a eyebrow pencil from Victoria Jackson which i think i would have liked more then the eyeliner but im still not disappointed.

Good job Ipsy still a lot more happy with them then i ever was with Birchbox.

Fudgy Chocolate Meringue Cookies

 

So good crispy on the outside chewy on the inside and super easy to make. 

What you'll need:

3 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup + 3 tablespoons cocoa powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1-2 cups chocolate chips (depending on your taste)

1 tablespoon vanilla extract
4 egg whites

Pre heat oven to 350

Mix all dry ingredients (with a wooden spoon)

then add your chocolate chips and mix 

Add your wet ingredients 

and mix with fork or spoon till smooth 

line a cookie sheet with parchment paper put about a table spoon of mixture per cookie on sheet make sure there is enough room because they will spread. (about 6 cookies on sheet)

Cook for about 12-15mins.

Till cookies are dark on the edges and shiny.

let cool and enjoy.
